Looking Ahead To 2026

This newsletter is one year old! As we head into our second year, here are some of our hopes and plans for 2026 (and we hope they'll involve you!).

➡️ Keep learning - we learned so much in 2025 and we know this learning curve will continue.
➡️ Keep growing - we've made some fantastic connections in 2025 and we want to meet and connect to even more this year.
➡️ Stay consistent - we'll try to stay in touch regularly so you know what we're up to (and if you don't want us to just let us know - no hard feelings!).

We also have some really exciting projects in the pipeline including:
🌟 A roundtable series which will hopefully result in the publication of a white paper.
🌟 A PDF resource that complements our training (more news on that in April).

If you've connected with us or worked with us, firstly a massive thank you! And secondly, do keep recommending us to other people when you feel we're relevant - your support makes all the difference!

Small Changes Beat Big Goals

It's the new year and everyone knows that it is time to make your new year resolutions... or is it?

How often do you make big resolutions that end up falling away by the end of Jan?

This year, why not try and think about sustainable micro-changes you can make in 2026. Here is how it looks different:
1️⃣ Think about the different areas of your life and how each is going (e.g., work, family, friends, health, leisure, community, spirituality, etc.).
2️⃣ Now pick one. The one that you most want to focus on. The one that feels the most important. The one that would make the biggest impact on your life overall if it changed.
3️⃣ Take a minute to do some big-picture thinking about that one area - how would I ideally like that area of my life to look?
4️⃣ Now dial it right back - what is one small change I can make today to get me closer to that ideal? Just one. Something small and achievable. Do that today, and tomorrow, and the next day (or at a frequency that makes sense for your goal).

How to make this into sustainable progress so that it actually brings change in 2026:
🌻 Consistency wins every time. Come up with a way to hold yourself accountable so that you do your small goal on a regular basis. It could be a written log, left somewhere you can see it. Or a friend who checks in with you to see if you are keeping up with your plan.
🌻 Each month, do a mini review. If you're nailing that one small action, then think about the next small change that gets you closer to that big picture goal. If you haven't been doing it, take a moment to be kind to yourself and restart.
🌻 Stay connected to the underlying value. Goals get boring, so when your motivation drops off, find a way to remind yourself WHY you're doing this. For example "My health is important to me - I want to feel more energised".

What is your one small change that you'll try to implement this January?
